Cumberland County YMCA 2008 Event Recaps

7th Annual Casco Bay YMCA Adaptive services Auction - March 28, 2009, 6:00 - 9:30 p.m.

Join us at DeLorme for another year of fun and excitement for a great cause!  This year, we will be staying local and supporting our own Made in Maine businesses as we enjoy our Taste of Maine theme.  Our planning committee is hard at work creating another wonderful event.  If you are interested in getting involved, donating an item or becoming an event sponsor, please contact Anne-Marie Brown

All proceeds from this event will go towards the Casco Bay Y's Adaptive Services Program - supporting individuals living with illnesses, injuries and disabilities. The Y provides one-on-one and small group support services to ensure that everyone, regardless of ability, is able to both enjoy the YMCA to its fullest and to remain physically and socially active. Because participants in this program do not pay extra  for these services, the funds raised through this auction are readily put to good use.

For more information, please contact the YMCA at 865-9600. We hope you will join us for an exciting evening to support this vital community program.

2008 Auction Recap:
Thank you to all who helped to make our 2008 auction our best one yet!  Through the support of our donors, sponsors and bidders, we were able to raise nearly $40,000 to support our Adaptive Services program.  If you weren’t one of our 225 guests last year, make sure to save the date for our 2009 auction ~ March 28th.
